The VZ17.00 shredders unique design of the pre-shredder cutter allows for a large quantity of document such as bound volumes, computer printouts, cardboard, complete files and most odd-shaped items such as bank notes, CDs and floppy disks and retail merchandise to be shredded.

On leaving the pre-shredder, the shredded material drops directly onto the a conveyor belt which takes to the security cutting mechanism of the after-shredder.
